Family Fee Obligation Notification

Payment Method: Neptune Swimming requires members to sign up for ACH or Credit Card Payment.  A monthly invoice will be sent via email, outlining the charges to your credit card or bank account.  Monthly dues are to be taken out on the 1st of the month.  To review current and past invoices, sign into your account. Click on “My Account” then click “$My Invoice/Payment”.  Please note that you MUST maintain an active and frequently accessed email address as there will be communications for both billing and other team functions.  A late fee of $25.00 will be charged

Annual Family Obligation: Each family has an annual obligation fee of $120.00, which is billed in August and due September 1st of each swim year.  Reminders will be sent to your email before this amount is drafted out of your account on September 1st.

Fundraising Obligation: Each family has an annual swim season fundraising commitment. The fundraising obligation cost breakdown is $150.00 for one swimmer, $200.00 for two swimmers and $250.00 for three or more swimmers.  Fundraising amount will be billed in May and due by June 1st. *

Volunteer Obligation: Our team parents are required to volunteer a minimum of 36 hours per swim season.  24 hours should be worked at our team hosted meets and 12 hours should be worked at away meets. Volunteer hours are tracked on an annual basis for the swim year of September to August through our Team Unify Website.  You are responsible for reporting your hours.  A bill will be sent for the hours that are not completed at a rate of $35.00 per hour on September 1st.*

The Neptune Swim Program is a year-round program and our dues structure is based on an annual budget.  If you choose to take a leave of absence from the team, a 30-day written notice is required. Without a written notice, monthly dues, including late fees will be charged.  The notice may be emailed to greaves_d@msn.com.  This includes senior swimmers taking a break for high school swimming and/or other sports.

*Both the fundraising commitment and volunteer hour’s commitments are based on the swim season, which runs from September to August.  If a member joins the team after the swim season begins, both their commitments are pro-rated for that season. Please note: that all families are responsible for meeting fundraising and service hour requirements, even if they take a temporary break during the swim season.

Volunteer Requirements

Neptune Swimming hosts 4-6 meets per year with in our swim season (September to August). These meets require parent volunteers. Meets simply can not run with out your help!

Neptune Swimming Family Volunteer Obligation- Neptune Swimming is a volunteer sport - it literally cannot happen without parental support. Each SRN family is required to volunteer a minimum of 36  hours per year. These hours are accrued from the first day of membership at the rate of 3 hours per month.  Each hour is equivalent to $35.00. Any unworked hours will be billed on September 1.

Steps to sign up -

  • Log into your account on the Neptune Swimming website.
  • Click the “Job Sign Up’ button.
  • Check the box next to the job and timeslot you would like to work.
  • Once the box is checked, click “sign up” at the top of the job sign up.
  • Fill in contact information, click “sign up”.
  • You know you will have signed up when your name is bold under the job slot you have chosen.

Away meets - when our team attends an away meet, we are responsible for a number of timing chairs. We ask that everyone that travels contributes to a timing job slot during the weekend. If you time and do not sign up through the website, please send any hours worked by email to Ashley.

Any hours that are not signed up for on the website are your responsibility to report. Send hours to Ashley @ srnashleybritton@gmail.com

Corporate sponsors - You can also earn credit by bringing in corporate sponsors. The minimum corporate sponsor requires a $600.00 donation and will cover 20 of volunteering. A $1,200 donation will cover all 36 hours of volunteering. In return the company will receive an ad displayed on our website. Email Ashley @ srnashleybritton@gmail.com for more information.

Officiating - Our team is always in need of more officials for meets. Officiating is an excellent way to support our swimmers, gain detailed knowledge about the sport, get unobstructed views, and earn $30 credit per session to offset club fees. Being an official also removes the need for volunteer hours (as long as you stay active).  The first step to becoming an official is letting us know you are interested! You have already done that! Click here for more information!

As a member of Neptune Swimming, I acknowledge that following certain basic rules of conduct is important to my development as a swimmer; my relationship with my parents, coaches and teammates; the community reputation of my team; and the preservation of the many relationships which contribute to the success of Neptune Swimming. I realize that not acting in a proper way while engaged in team activities is harmful to myself and to my team, and prevents me from becoming the best swimmer and person I can be. Therefore, I pledge and commit to observe the following basic rules of conduct while involved in Neptune Swimming related activities.

I pledge to treat with courtesy and respect my fellow swimmers, coaches, team parents, City of Santa Rosa employees, meet officials, parent volunteers, swimmers, coaches and parents of other swim teams.

I pledge not to interfere with the workouts of swimmers.

I pledge to obey all lawful directions of adults with appropriate authority, promptly and respectfully.

I understand that the consequences for violating Neptune Swimming Code of Responsibility could lead to and may include requiring a conference with my parents, loss of practice and/or meet privileges and suspension or removal from the team.
